May 9 is the victory day against fascism. It has been 73 years since Victory Day. The people of Azerbaijan have a special place in this victory. More than 600 Azerbaijani fronts were sent from 1941 to 1945. Approximately 130 of our compatriots were deemed worthy of the title of Soviet Union Hero, and 30 of them were given the Onur Order. 170 thousand Azerbaijani soldiers and officers were awarded with different orders and medals from the USSR.
