The Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics, conducts diagnosis and surgical treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, ligaments, tendons, joints and spine. These diseases primarily include arthritis of the upper and lower extremities, injuries of the musculoskeletal system, congenital hip dislocation, scoliosis, kyphosis, traumatic lesions of the peripheral nervous system, as well as torn ligaments of athletes and people with active lifestyles. In addition to traditional methods, the department carries out modern techniques, such as arthroscopy, joint replacement, intramedullary and extramedullary osteosynthesis, increase growth, as well as reconstruction of congenital defects of the musculoskeletal system.
